2. WAN Operation Instructions

Step1: If there are fixed WAN IP address which could be given to the host DVR, you could connect DVR to WAN directly, set IP, subnet mask and gateway, then access normally.

Step3: Access through the router forwarding.

(When forwarding, the gateway should be set as current forwarding server. Note: forwarding instruction is for TCP protocol)

IE access format: http://WAN IP:http port; http://Domain name:http port.

Introduction of forwarding through router:

Note: In the “Figure 4”, the default values of command port and HTTP port is 8101 and 81. User could set these 2 default values in customized and save.
